With Neon Notes, I explored a noticeably different creative process than usual. This collection developed primarily in a digital way, with only a few initial sketches and scattered ink splashes as a starting point. The inspiration came from a fascination with stationery — fountain pens, pens, and the small everyday tools that shape how we write, work, and organize ideas. With its fresh neon palette and clear graphic language, the collection naturally connects to back-to-school themes while remaining versatile well beyond the season.

The collection includes a wide range of patterns featuring stationery essentials and office tools. Scissors, pens, compasses, and other practical helpers are reduced to graphic elements and arranged into structured, geometric compositions. This sense of order is intentionally balanced by looser designs with expressive ink splashes, as well as a joyful, colorful hero pattern that adds movement and visual contrast.

Bold neon tones — mainly pink, orange, and turquoise — define the color palette. Combined with strong graphic layouts, they create a contemporary look that feels energetic, confident, and modern, without losing clarity or structure.
Neon Notes is a versatile stationery-inspired pattern collection with a strong graphic character and fresh color energy. The designs are available for licensing on Patterned.
